Scope


Electrical infrastructure works for Forward Arming and Refuelling Point (FARP) under WP411

Challenge


The project required the delivery of compliant, durable, and secure electrical infrastructure for a remote defence refuelling facility. The challenge was to meet stringent Defence specifications while working in a remote, high-security environment with limited access and tight delivery windows.

Solution


MEC NT delivered the full electrical scope including: 


  • Installation of static earthing systems with 28 test points 


  • Commissioning and testing Stand alone 20KWH solar system coupled to SP PRO inverter systems for solar integration 


  • General lighting and power to facilities buildings 


  • As-built documentation and certification for all installed systems 


All works were completed in accordance with Defence Infrastructure Electrical Engineering Infrastructure standards and NT WHS regulations.

Results


  • Compliance: Delivered to Defence specifications with full certification


  • Safety: Static earthing and Electrical installed and tested 


  • Sustainability: Solar-ready infrastructure with SP PRO inverter integration
